Project 365: Post 217 (R)

The big day is fast approaching now and being an outdoor wedding one of our biggest concerns is the weather. Up until last week we had some of the hottest days for a very long time and its been lovely, perfect beach weather. The only concern we had then was “What if its too hot?”.

…And then the rain came.

Now we are checking the weather forecast everyday to see what they predict the weather will be like in Great Torrington on our Wedding day and praying to a god that neither of us believe in that we won’t have torrential rain.

As you can see at the moment its predicted to just be overcast, which we are both fine with… as long as it stays that way.

Now from a photographers point of view you couldn’t ask for much better weather as its like having a natural soft box effect meaning that you won’t have any harsh shadows or bright spots.

If it does tip it down then it won’t be the perfect wedding day we pictured but its not a total disaster. Check out this great blog post about wet weddings and how to deal with them.
